8-Hour Site Scouting Visit with Senior Agronomist
During your full day visit – typically conducted at the stage when your crop is switching from vegetation to flowering – your crop advisor will walk the field, using a proprietary scouting process to get a representation and provide feedback on items from irrigation management, observations of the field floor, physical soil texture and quality, the pros and cons of the topography and the overall health of your specific environment. Their goal is to help you get ahead of any potential issues from pest pressure, nutritional imbalances or pathogen outbreaks. Your advisor will provide coaching and tools to address these issues as well as stay in communication with you throughout the season for feedback from you on how the crop is progressing.
Bi-monthly Crop Advisement from Senior Agronomist
You’ll work one-on-one with your personally-assigned, licensed agronomist, on the development of your seasonal farm plan. This will cover all operations from pre-plant to harvest with the end goal of creating a formula for success. Every two weeks, your crop advisor will be on-site, walking the field and making continual assessments and recommendations to help you stay ahead of any potential issues. Your advisor will focus on utilizing preventative methods and provide a bi-weekly report covering multiple facets of your crop’s progression including pest pressure, pathogen pressure, weed pressure and nutritional deficiencies. You will have consistently available, personalized contact with your agronomist to provide feedback on changes and updates you are making according to their assessments via a proprietary farm management system and via phone and email throughout the entire season.
